Taking an idea all the way from a scribble in the corner of my sketchbook to a finished physical product.
This is the prototype of Vespa Franky. It was a great opportunity to identify areas of the sculpt that needed improvement to make production easier. In fact, I already have a Version 2.0 printed.
The idea behind this piece was to create a line of classic movie monsters riding their Vespas. Franky would be the first, followed by the Bride, Dracula, the Mummy, the Wolfman (damn I am looking forward to have a moment to sculpt that one!!) and more, all produced as vinyl or PVC figures.
Now I just need an investor willing to help bring the whole line to life. Anybody interested? 😉
